ENTREPRENEURS and business leaders from all over Inverclyde are set to lift top honours at a prestigious awards ceremony.
Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the shortlist for this year's ICON Awards.
The 11 accolades will be presented at Greenock Town Hall on Friday, September 20 at a glittering event hosted by Gerry McDade.
Honours cover categories including business resilience, tourism, and diversity an incredible array of talent will assemble at the venue on the night.
The chamber said it received an 'overwhelming' number of applications for the awards this year, and has decided to name three finalists in each category.
Lizzy Todd, president of Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce, added: "We extend our congratulations to all the finalists.
"Your dedication and achievements have truly set you apart.
"We also want to express our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted nominations.
"The selection process was incredibly competitive, and we appreciate the time and effort put into each entry."
Diodes will be headline sponsor for the third year running, and the event is also being supported by Tonino's Pizzeria, Golden Casket, James Walker Devol, and TweetiePie Media.
Downriver Coffee Roasters, LilyBee, and Jacqui Jack Play and Learn are finalists in the entrepreneurism category, and Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Services, Fairlie Curved, and Ardgowan Hospice are shortlisted for business growth.
Diodes Incorporated, CVS Inverclyde, and RIG Arts are in line for the community benefits title, and Downriver Coffee Roasters, Inver-Heat Ltd, and J.G.B Steelcraft (UK) Limited are sustainability finalists.
Treasured, Fairlie Curved, and MindMosaic are shortlisted in the business resilience category, and RIG Arts, Ocean Youth Trust Scotland, and West College Scotland are in line for the skills development honour.
The tourism accolade could be scooped by The Wyllieum, Kilmacolm Farm Tours, or Christine Allan Artist, and Ardgowan Hospice, Inverclyde Womens Aid, and MindMosaic have been named in the health and wellbeing category.
Morton in the Community, Ocean Youth Trust Scotland, or Partner Services Scotland Ltd could lift the diversity honour, and Fairlie Curved, Studio Craig Black, and Safer Group are in line for the internationalism gong.
Rising Star finalists are Matthew Quinn, Shaun Wiseman, and Bruce Glenny, with a highly commended mention for Molly Cuddihy.
