MEMBERS of Greenock’s Coastguard Rescue Team have responded to reports of ‘suspected ordnance’ on a Gourock beach.
Several vehicles rushed to Cloch Road this afternoon, where team members have been seen inspecting the shoreline near McInroy's Point.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “At around 1.10pm today, HM Coastguard received a report of suspected ordnance on Levan Beach in Gourock, Scotland.
“Greenock Coastguard Rescue team has been sent to attend.”
