CROWDS were entertained at Kilmacolm’s Birkmyre Park this week as Circus Montini paid a visit.
The show was created by promoter Tony Hopkins in order to bring the circus to places which do not often see it without reducing the quality or quantity of acts.
It is said to ‘pay tribute to those early showmen who made circus a social favourite’.
An array of artists from around the world performed six shows in Kilmacolm this week, including Petro the clown – a Ukrainian now living in Yorkshire with his family.
Tony hopes to return to Inverclyde later in the year, with plans underway to bring the show to Port Glasgow.
