A GREENOCK woman is to stand trial after her dog allegedly bit three people whilst ‘dangerously out of control’.
Anne Agnew, 60, faces charges relating to three separate instances in which her Doberman is said to have attacked members of the public.
Prosecutors say the dog bit a woman on Morton Terrace on October 20 last year, as well as lunging at and biting a man to his injury on East Crawford Street on May 3.
A further charge alleges the same dog jumped up and bit another man on East Crawford Street on the body to his injury on June 4.
Agnew, of Morton Terrace, is also charged with failing to rehome two dogs after being disqualified from having custody of them at Greenock Justice of the Peace Court on April 2023.
She is due to stand trial at Greenock Sheriff Court on August 28.
