A GOUROCK woman has admitted carrying out four assaults in the town over the course of six months - including three attacks on police officers.
Renais McLachlan now waits to find out her fate after pleading guilty to several charges at Greenock Sheriff Court, dating back to June last year.
The 24-year-old assaulted a police officer at a property on Shaw Place in Greenock on June 29 last year.
McLachlan repeatedly kicked the man on the body and repeatedly punched him on the head to his injury.
She also admitted assaulting a second officer on the same day by repeatedly kicking him on the body.

McLachlan had been charged with adopting an aggressive attitude towards police during this incident, as well as being in possession of class C drug cannabis – but her pleas of not guilty were accepted by the Crown.
She pleaded guilty to a further assault charge concerning an incident at Inverclyde Royal Hospital's Langhill Clinic on July 15 last year, in which she seized a woman by the hair and punched her to the head, leaving her injured.
A few days later, she sent threatening and abusive messages to the same woman via social media.
McLachlan carried out another assault on a police witness on Carwood Street in Greenock on December 8.
She attacked and injured an on-duty female officer by headbutting her.
The Crown accepted not guilty pleas to a further charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner, as well as an allegation of resisting, hindering or obstructing police officers.
A not guilty plea was also accepted to a charge of shouting, swearing and threatening nursing staff at the Langhill Clinic with violence on May 2 last year.
Sheriff James Varney deferred sentencing to allow for the preparation of criminal justice social work reports and a curfew assessment.
McLachlan, of Shore Street, is due to return to court on August 20.
