A LARGE Princess Cruises vessel has arrived in Greenock as she nears the halfway point on her trip around the British Isles.
Regal Princess sailed in this morning, carrying up to 3,560 guests across her 18 decks.
The vessel departed Southampton on Friday last week and has since stopped off in Cork. Dublin and Holyhead.
She is due to leave Greenock Ocean Terminal this evening, from where she will travel on to Invergordon.
Before arriving back in Southampton on August 7, the ship will also call at ports in Leith, the Isle of Portland in Dorset and Normandy’s Le Havre.
Regal Princess was built in Italy in 2014 and is the line’s second ship to sail under this name.
One of her most unique features is her SeaWalk – a glass-floor walkway which extends 28-feet beyond the edge of the ship.
She has stopped off at Greenock Ocean Terminal several times this season, with her next visit scheduled for August 12.
