POLICE are investigating an ‘unexplained’ death after the body of a 60-year-old man was found in Greenock.
Officers were called to Nelson Street at around 5:25pm on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of the death of a 60-year-old man on Nelson Street, Greenock, around 5.25pm on Tuesday, 30 July, 2024.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
