A PLAY which explores a group of teenagers’ battle with their first ever vote during the Scottish Independence referendum is to be performed in Greenock next month.
Alba follows Paul and his S4 classmates as they navigate history lessons and their youth in working-class Glasgow.
The show, written by Jack Byrne and Jordan Howat, is being brought to the Beacon Arts Centre stage by Action Theatre Scotland on September 5.
Featuring both ‘original and inspired’ songs, Alba will also visit Irvine, East Kilbride, Nairn and Cumbernauld on its tour.
Tickets for the Beacon show can be booked at beaconartscentre.co.uk.
