He was born in Greenock and lives in the glamorous Las Vegas, but Martin Compston also has a love for Glasgow and is regularly spotted out and about in the city.
The 40-year-old Line of Duty star has been pictured enjoying some of our most-loved food and drink spots over the years and always seems to have a good time when he’s in Glasgow.
Here are some of the Glasgow restaurants loved by Martin Compston.
Cùl Cùil
Martin was snapped up along with his pals including Scottish actor Greg McHugh, better known as Gary Tank Commander, at Cùl Cùil in the city centre earlier this month.
Taking to social media to share the actor's visit, the eatery said it was 'great to see him' ahead of TRNSMT festival.
He got up on stage to introduce crowds to his good friend Example, who was performing at the King Tut’s stage.
Amber Regent
Martin enjoyed dinner at a plush city centre restaurant after attending a Celtic game last year.
The Hoops-daft actor dined at Chinese eatery Amber Regent with his wife Tianna, actor Gianni Capaldi and Gianni's wife Amanda.
Gianni, who had recently filmed a new project with Samuel L Jackson, shared a photo of the group on their double date.
Lychee Oriental
Proving he’s a fan of Chinese food, Martin visited Lychee Oriental on Mitchell Street with chef Jimmy Lee.
The award-winning restaurateur, who is good friends with Martin and runs Salt n Chilli Oriental in Shawlands, uploaded the snap to his Instagram story with the caption, "The party continues"
Vega
Martin and broadcaster Gordon Smart were spotted at chic rooftop bar Vega in August 2022.
The hilarious duo were enjoying the eatery's chicken wings before recording a new episode of their podcast Restless Natives.
Fish Works
While it’s not in Glasgow, the Fish Works is regularly visited by those heading from the city to the seaside in the summertime – including Martin.
The Line of Duty star visited the iconic chippy in Largs, who said they were 'delighted' to serve the 40-year-old and his family.
