AN INVERCLYDE band are looking ahead to their first hometown gig in two years after tickets for the show sold out in minutes.
Slix will play Greenock’s Beacon Arts Centre on September 14 as part of a series of events which aim to give local acts the opportunity to grow their fanbases.
Indie Inverclyde recently launched last month with a performance from I Am David Laing.
Tickets went on sale for the Slix gig at 10am this morning and were snapped up in just over five minutes.
The five-piece indie rock band have enjoyed a busy year so far, selling out Glasgow’s Saint Luke’s and playing festivals in Brighton, Berlin and Madrid.
