A CANDLELIGHT vigil is to be held in Inverclyde to remember those lost to addiction.
Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs will team up with Teen Challenge to host the event at Clyde Square on September 1.
For the past three years, the charities have organised a vigil to coincide with International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31.
It is hoped the event will help show families that lives lost to addiction matter and are not ‘just a statistic’.
Candles will be provided at the vigil, which will take place at 8pm.
