ANOTHER classic film is set to return to the big screen in Greenock this week as Waterfront Cinema’s ‘Back to the 80s’ month continues.
Steven Spielberg’s 1985 adventure The Goonies will be shown on Friday at 9pm.
The movie follows a group of young misfits as set out to find a legendary pirate’s long-lost treasure after discovering an ancient map.
Waterfront Cinema will be showing several 1980s favourites throughout August, having kicked the event off with The NeverEnding Story last week.
Box office hits such as David Bowie’s Labyrinth, The Karate Kid and Back To The Future are also due to be screened in the coming weeks.
