AN INVERCLYDE youth theatre group will be bringing a classic back to life as part of their 30 year celebrations.
Kayos are now casting for their four-show run of Dracula: The Musical in the Old West Kirk this autumn.
The youth theatre group, for young performers aged from 15 to 25, are taking on the show, which promises to be a thrilling drama of suspense and a Gothic romance of dreamlike temptation, based on the world-famous novel by Bram Stoker.
Director Kevin Jannetts and his team will be running a workshop on Sunday August 18 in the Greenock Celtic Club from 1.30pm for those keen to perform.
Dracula the Musical, by Frank Wildhorn, with book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, will run in the Old West Kirk from Thursday, October 31 until Saturday, November 2, with a Saturday matinee performance in addition to three evening shows.
If anyone aged from 15 to 25 would like to get involved they can register for the workshop by emailing kevinjannetts@hotmail.com.
