Senior Scouts from the 85th troop recently completed a demanding two-day expedition in the Arrochar Alps.
The challenge saw them traverse hard terrain while carrying all the necessary equipment in full packs.
They camped at Butterbridge on the first night, followed by a night atop the Cobbler.
Weather conditions were difficult, with missing visibility on Sunday due to mist, which forced them to practise their compass skills.
As they were unable to see where they were going, the Scouts were dependent on following bearings for an hour or two to keep on track.
Despite the challenging circumstances, their efforts were rewarded as they all achieved the Expedition Challenge badge.
One Scout member received the Chief Scout Gold award, a prestigious accolade requiring three to four years of dedication.
The experience took other members closer to earning this award as well.
