POLICE have issued a public appeal in a bid to trace a missing 77-year-old known to frequent Greenock.
Jeanette McIlvar, from Largs, was last seen in the Eastern Avenue of the North Ayrshire town at around 9am today.
She is described as being around five feet in height and of thin build with short grey hair.
Jeanette is believed to be wearing a blue jacket with a furry hood, blue jeans and white and blue trainers.
Police say she walks with the aid of a walking stick.
Anyone who has seen Jeanette is asked to contact 101, quoting reference 1558 of August 15, 2024.
