Walkers are being asked to go the extra mile to raise funds for a cause close to Inverclyde's heart.
Compassionate Inverclyde is holding a 5k walk, under the banner of 'Stride for Kindness', at Battery Park on Sunday, September 22.
The aim of the walk is to raise money for the charity and to promote its message of a compassionate community where ordinary people make a difference together.
The event will run from 1-3pm and costs £5 to enter.
