They're creepy and they're kooky...and the members of the Addams Family are coming to the Greenock stage later this year.
The Addams Family Musical is being staged by the Albany Stage School at the Beacon in October, and is the ideal way to get people in the Halloween spirit.
The musical comedy is being directed by Calum McVittie, who says it's a fantastic show.
Calum, 37, said: "I've been involved in drama since I was 12 and was previously a member of the stage school.
"I've appeared in loads of shows. I played Jack Black in School of Rock, appeared in Annie, and I am also an amateur magician, so I have loads of experience.
"The stage school was looking for a new director and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity.
"It's a huge production with a 40-strong cast and full orchestra. It's also really funny. It's a sight to be seen.
"It's the first time the show has been performed in the main theatre at the Beacon."
Calum said: "The Addams Family is so popular because of the movie and the Netflix Wednesday series, and the success of the Broadway show.
"Our show has all the original songs and iconic characters, from from Lurch and Fester to Wednesday and from Pugsley, to Morticia and Gomez."
For those who've never seen the show before, it tells the story of how Wednesday, who is 18, is growing up and has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal respectable family who has invited them to their home for dinner.
But as usual with the Addams family, nothing goes to plan.
Calum said: "In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to change."
It runs from Thursday, October 3 until Saturday, October 5, with performances each night at 7.30pm and a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
