FORECASTERS have issued a further yellow weather warning for Inverclyde, with strong winds set to blow in overnight.
An alert for heavy rainfall is already in place across much of the west of Scotland from 11am today until 8am tomorrow.
The Met Office has now warned of high winds between 1am and 9am on Wednesday.

Delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely, with some coastal routes and sea fronts expected to be affected by spray or large waves.
The warning covers parts of northern England and southern Scotland, reaching as far north as Inverclyde and Edinburgh.

Gusts of 60 miles per hour are possible in more exposed locations, including roads passing over high ground.
Drivers and public transport passengers are urged to check road conditions and timetables before travelling.
