TWO women have been injured after a car crashed into a building in Greenock's town centre this afternoon.
Police Scotland confirmed they were both rushed to hospital for treatment following the incident at the former business centre in Cathcart Street.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance, raced to the scene following reports of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of a car crashing into a building in the Cathcart Street area of Greenock around 1.10pm on Friday, August 23.
“Two women were taken to hospital for treatment.”
