A CRITICALLY acclaimed poet who has performed alongside Benjamin Zephaniah and Hollie McNish is to bring her latest work to the stage at Beacon Arts Centre.
Imogen Stirling, who has performed at Glastonbury, Latitude, Secret Garden Party and Anniki Runofestivaali and the Edinburgh Book Festival, is bringing a stage adaptation of her poetry cycle, Love the Sinner, to the Inverclyde venue later this month.
The work fuses spoken word with electronic music and explores the seven deadly sins in the context of modern Scotland.

It features lyrics and vocals by Stirling with music by award-winning producer and songwriter Sarah Carton and additional music / live performance by Sonia Killmann.
Love the Sinner is a co-production between renowned Scottish theatre company Vanishing Point, the Beacon, and Shetland Arts.
It is supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland and is coming to Beacon as part of its Scottish tour.
Stirling was also the inaugural writer-in-residence for Paisley Book Festival, led Wigtown Book Festival’s youth development programme and was shortlisted for the Out-Spoken Prize for Poetry.
The performance takes place on Friday, August 30 at 7.30pm.
