ENTRIES are still being accepted for races set to take place at the Kilmacolm Running Festival next week.
The festival will be held at Birkmyre Park on Sunday, September 8, with various races being organised throughout the day for runners of all age groups and abilities.
Runners in the 3km event will set off at 9:15am, with this race open to adults and children.
Entrants under the age of nine must be accompanied by an adult.
The half marathon and 10km races, open to those aged 16 or over on the day, will begin at 10am and 10:30am respectively.
The races will follow a course through Kilmacolm and the adjoining countryside.
There will also be a free ‘toddle woddle’ event on the day from 9am, in which families can enjoy a walk or run around the park. No registration is required for this event.
