INVERCLYDE'S newest coffee spot will welcome its first customers later this week.
Alchemist Coffee Bar on Greenock's Jamaica Street is set to open its doors on Friday at 8am.
Owner Allan White is working alongside businesses in Greenock, Gourock and Port Glasgow to offer a range of locally sourced produce at the specialist store.

He has teamed up with Ryan Casey of Downriver Coffee Roastery to perfect the drinks offering, with her Boiler Maker blend being selected as the house roast.
Speaking to the Tele last month, Allan said he hopes to help create a 'coffee culture' in the town centre.
