THE Waverley is heading south after completing her main summer Clyde Coast season over the weekend.
The paddle steamer enjoyed another busy spell on the Clyde throughout July and August, including a special anniversary trip marking 50 years since she was gifted for £1.
She left Largs for Falmouth on Sunday evening, from where she will set sail on a cruise to Penzance and Land’s End.

Waverley is due to cruise from Dartmouth to Start Point on Saturday evening, before returning to view the Royal Regatta fireworks.
She will head to the south coast of England and the Isle of Wight from September 2, before moving to London and the Thames Estuary from September 27.
Waverley will return to Greenock and other Clyde Coast locations on October 19 and 20 for her final sailings of 2024.
