A GREENOCK man is accused of driving a car in the town while unfit through drink or drugs.
According to prosecutors, Jamie Collins was behind the wheel of a Kia Sportage vehicle while under the influence of an unnamed substance on Roxburgh Street.
The 36-year-old, of Ann Street, is said to have committed the alleged Road Traffic Act offence on March 18 this year.
Collins, represented by solicitor Edel McGinty, was absent from a sheriff court hearing on Tuesday with his solicitor stating that the case may be capable of resolution.
A continued pre-trial hearing was scheduled for September 3.
