A LONG standing charity helping children keep in touch with estranged parents is looking for financial help to fund a refurbishment.
The Inverclyde Family Contact Centre in Jamaica Street has been providing a safe space and drop off point for children and parents for over two decades.
They have applied for funding from the Inverclyde community grants scheme to replace carpets and celing lights in their premises.
The family contact centre, which started off in the Wellpark Mid Kirk, is applying for £2,310.
Inverclyde Council's grants sub committee meets on Monday to decide on the application.
