A CRUISE ship arrived at Greenock Ocean Terminal this morning for the second time in just over a week – with another visitor hot on her heels.
Marina is currently around half way through a 12-day trip which will see her stop at ports across the UK and Ireland.
She set off from Southampton on Thursday last week, and has so far visited Leith, Kirkwall, Stornoway and Belfast.
The Oceania Cruises vessel can carry up to 1,250 passengers and is designed for ‘culinary and travel connoisseurs’.
She returns to Greenock today having stopped off last Monday on a one-way trip from Reykjavic to Southampton.
Marina is joined at the terminal by smaller cruise ship Le Dumont D’Urville – a Ponant vessel fitted with ‘innovative equipment’ and designed to be environmentally friendly.
