A GREENOCK community garden is flourishing thanks to the hard work of a group of volunteers.
The Drying Green at South West Library is officially 'thriving', thanks a positive assessment from Keep Scotland Beautiful, which gave the project a 'level 4' rating.
Karen Orr from RIG Arts says she is delighted with the feedback and wanted to thank volunteers for making the garden such a success.
She said the organisation also gave back some constructive suggestions on how to improve the the space.
Karen is also appealing for more people to come forward to become volunteers.
People are invited to come along on a Tuesday between 11am and 3pm.
You don't need to have any previous experience and you can do as much or little as you want.
Members of the public can also use the space to unwind, read a book or sit to eat their lunch, and they can pick some herbs to take home too.
The project was created through the Dandelion Project, in collaboration with RIG Arts, and with support from Inverclyde Libraries and financial help from the Scottish Government's Investing in Communities Fund.
