INVERCLYDE TV star Jean Johansson is hosting a fundraising ball for one of the area's best known good causes.
The Place in the Sun presenter, who is originally from Port Glasgow, will be fronting the award winning Home Start Inverclyde charity's 'Hoolie' in the Greenock Town Hall.
Mum-of-one Jean is an ambassador for the frontline project which supports families with young children, including New Scots.
The Home Start Inverclyde team was delighted when Jean visited their Hood Street premises to see for herself the vital work and she spoke with many of the parents.
Now the charity, who are looking to attract sponsors, has announced their first big ball on Friday November 15 from 7pm to midnight.
There will be a drinks reception, followed by a three course dinner and entertainment all night.
