AN IMPRESSIVE cruise ship sprinkled some Disney magic on the Clyde this morning as she arrived at Greenock Ocean Terminal.

Disney Dream set off on a seven-day round-trip of the British Isles from Southampton on Sunday.

Greenock is her first port of call, with stops also scheduled in Liverpool, Cork and the Isle of Portland.

Today marks Disney Dream’s second visit to Inverclyde, with the ship having first stopped off in Greenock in September last year.

The 14-deck vessel, which can carry up to 4,000 passengers, is home to an array of Disney-inspired venues and activities.

Flo’s Café – a diner based on the Pixar film Cars – serves All-American favourites, with Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats offering a Wreck It Ralph sugar rush.

The ship also puts on Broadway-style shows, such as Beauty and the Beast.

Her AquaDuck ‘water coaster’ thrills riders with its surprise launch and a translucent tube which reaches 20-feet over the side of the ship.

During her departure last year, Disney Dream wowed crowds lined along the Esplanade by playing classic tunes such as ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ and ‘A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes’.
