HUNDREDS of cruise ship passengers boarded a chartered train service from Greenock to Edinburgh on Tuesday morning.
Holidaymakers who arrived at Ocean Terminal on Disney Dream got the chance to travel on a special ScotRail service which took them all the way to the capital.
The service was chartered, meaning it was paid for by cruise ship operators and was not done at ScotRail's behest.
People of all ages were spotted making their way from the ship, bypassing Greenock town centre and on to the platform at Greenock Central.
The holidaymakers formed a huge queue which snaked all the way down from the station onto Cathcart Street while they waited for the train to arrive to whizz them away from Inverclyde.

Disney Dream set off on a seven-day round-trip of the British Isles from Southampton on Sunday.
This is only her second time in Greenock as she arrived on our shores in September last year.
