Inverclyde Historical Society recommences on Thursday.
The first talk is about novelist John Galt and the John Galt Way.
The society is carrying out a project throughout the coming session to bring the local author to greater prominence in the community.
The meeting will take place at Lyle Gateway in Greenock at 2pm.
