FRIENDLY open mic sessions for writers and poets are coming up at an arts hub in Greenock.
All are welcome to join in at the creative and entertaining afternoons run by Write Inverclyde as part of the word@thewarehouse project.
Write Inverclyde was offers the chance for creatives to share information and offer opportunities.
It was set up by award winning poet Katharine Macfarlane who is a former librarian in Greenock.
The sessions emerged during her time as an author-in-residence in Inverclyde as part of the 'Culture Collective'.
The sessions take place at the Rig Arts premises in Clarence Street.
The next event is on Saturday, September 21 at 4pm, and then again on Saturday October 19 at 4pm.
