A PORT Glasgow man is to stand trial after he denied brandishing knives in an alleged incident.
Charles Stewart, 32, is charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at an address on Brookfield Road on May 8.
Prosecutors say he shouted threats and swore, as well as brandishing the blades and banging on a door.
He pleaded not guilty at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday, with a trial being fixed for January 23.
