POLICE have taken action over a damaged car spotted on Kilmacolm Road earlier this week.
Officers launched a probe after the heavily damaged vehicle was seen at the side of the road on Wednesday.
It was established that the vehicle had been abandoned and police notified the local authority about the situation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, police became aware of a damaged car in the Kilmacolm Road area of Greenock.
“Enquiries were carried out and it was established that the vehicle was abandoned.
"The local authority has been made aware.”
