INVERCLYDE Heritage Network has been awarded vital funding for their monthly talks.
The historical group hosts a series guest speakers at their events in the the Watt Institution.
They have awarded £1,500 towards running costs as well as oral histories, heritage fair and Doors Open Day.
The Inverclyde Council grants sub committee met recently to award funding to around 100 organisations from a pot of £250,000, though the fund was heavily over-subscribed, with the total applied for reaching more than £850,000.
