A MAN is due to stand trial charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Wemyss Bay.
Paul Illingworth, 54, is alleged to have targeted the woman at Station Bar on March 10, 2021, by ‘seizing her buttocks’.
Illingworth, of York, pleaded not guilty to the single charge via letter at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday.
He is due to return to court for trial on January 27 next year.
