SEVERAL ScotRail services operating in Inverclyde have been cancelled this morning due to a broken down train.
Some services into and out of Gourock were disrupted because of the fault, leaving passengers stuck at the station.
The 7.16am, 7.46am and 8.26am services from Gourock to Glasgow were all cancelled.
Other services were forced to terminate at Greenock Central due to the issue.
NEW: We've got an issue with a train at Gourock which is causing some cancellations to services here. Teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as they can and we will provide a further update once we have more information on this. pic.twitter.com/FRGrC4NDEc

In an update issued just after 8am, ScotRail said its teams were working to resolve the problem.
Ticket acceptance for McGill's Buses is in place between Gourock and Port Glasgow to ensure that rail passengers can still get around.

ScotRail bosses confirmed at 11:20am that the issue had been resolved and that services between Glasgow Central and Gourock were beginning to return to normal.
However, they have advised travellers that some services may still be delayed or revised.
