A MAN has died at flat in Greenock town centre, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to the Westburn Buildings in Dalrymple Street shortly after 11am on Wednesday.
Four police vehicles were seen outside the building around lunchtime, while one remained at the scene at 6pm.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.10am on Tuesday, 17 September, 2024 we were called to a property in Dalrymple Street, Greenock where a man was pronounced dead.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
