THE Greenock and District Scouts' 5th Squirrels held an indoor camp in their hall last Friday night.

This was an opportunity for them to learn some new Scouting skills.

They learned about fire lighting, and how they can use cotton wool to help light a fire. Once the fire was lit, they then learned the essential skill of marshmallow toasting!

They also learned the names of all the parts of an axe. After all of this learning, they were  all ready to have hot dogs for supper and watch a Minions film before going to sleep  into their tents.
