Council bosses are looking for feedback from parents and over admission to nurseries and early learning and childcare settings.
Education services are conducting a review of the policy and process for admission.
The council has developed a survey for parents/carers to allow them to collect data on how it can best ensure its policies and processes meet the childcare needs of families in Inverclyde.
The survey is open until Friday, September 20. Visit tinyurl.com/earlyyearsadmissions to complete it.
