A POPULAR Inverclyde singer songwriter is releasing a new single this week.
David Laing, who performs as I am David Laing, is getting ready to launch Be There on Thursday.
David plays all of the instruments on the track, which was the last tune he wrote for his forthcoming album.
The song is described as 'lyrically more reflective' than some other tracks, and focuses on David's feelings following a break-up.
David, 32, has shared the stage with bands and artists including Frightened Rabbit, Admiral Fallow, and Emeli Sande.
The talented musician and singer said he's looking forward to letting everyone hear his new tune.
He added: "I'm pleased that the tracks so far have been so well received with getting radio play, and I hope that people enjoy this new one."
Be There will be available on all the usual streaming sites from Thursday.
