A POPULAR Port Glasgow eatery has been named Scotland’s best buffet restaurant by a prestigious awards body.
Curry Lounge on Princes Street took home the top prize at the recent Spice Awards in Glasgow, which celebrates Indian and Asian cuisine from across Scotland.
The gong is the latest in a long list of accolades the restaurant has picked up.
The venue’s proud owner Sal Mohammed told the Telegraph he was delighted to win the prize.
He said: “Winning the Best Buffet in Scotland Award for 2024 is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our entire team.
“This award reflects our commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience, combining fresh, locally sourced ingredients with diverse, flavourful dishes that cater to all tastes.
“Our buffet includes a four course meal and we also let customers bring their own alcohol.
“We are incredibly proud to be recognized at this level, and it inspires us to continue raising the bar for quality, variety, and customer service.
“A heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers and the judging panel for this incredible honour.”
