A WOMAN was found dead at a block of high flats in Greenock after emergency services were called to the area this afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews were dispatched to Broomhill Court at around 2:15pm today (Wednesday) after receiving a report of concern for a person.
A 66-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.15pm on Wednesday, September 25 we were called to a report of concern for a person at Broomhill Court in Greenock.
"Emergency services attended and a 66-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
