CVS Inverclyde is set to host a social enterprise and volunteering event next month.
The CVS Inverclyde Social Enterprise & Volunteering Showcase 2024 will take place at the Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock on October 30, from 10am to 3pm.
The event will see keynote speeches from Charlene Elliott, CEO of CVS Inverclyde; Louise Long, CEO of Inverclyde Council; Lisa Wardlaw, head of the Skills Academy at Kibble; and Margaret Starkie, partnership and communications manager at Volunteer Scotland.
Activities include a Social Enterprise Trade Fair, 'Meet the Experts' speed networking, a sustainable fashion show, a Clyde Coast Radio live broadcast, and a volunteer workshop.
Paul Bristow of Magic Torch Comics will also provide original comic artwork for the event.
Ms Elliott said: "Both volunteering and social enterprise make enormous contributions to the Inverclyde economy, environment, and our communities.
"The Showcase event will spotlight the creativity and innovation of individual organisations and the collective impact of social enterprises and volunteering.
"This is a fantastic learning and networking opportunity for charities, social enterprises, and anyone looking to discover new opportunities in the third sector."
