A GREENOCK church will be collecting donations for two worthy charities at its harvest thanksgiving service this weekend.
The Lyle Kirk Greenock are running the donation drive for Inverclyde Foodbank and Starter Pack Inverclyde.
In a post online, they said: "This will be an all-age service, where we will be giving thanks to God for the world we live in and the food we eat as well as reflecting on the fact that Sunday is also International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste."
The collection will take place at the church's Sunday service, which starts at 10:30am at the Lyle Kirk's Union Street building.
