HERE are all of the road works currently scheduled to start in Inverclyde next week.
Balloch Road, Greenock
A section of Balloch Road will be closed from Tuesday October 1 at 6am until Thursday October 3 at 5am next week while carriageway resurfacing works take place.
The closure will be in place from the street’s junction with Fintry Road up to its junction with Renton Road.
A diversion will be in place via Balloch Road, Leven Road, Renton Road and vice versa.
Open Shore, Greenock
The road in front of the Beacon Arts Centre will be shut for a day next week while filming works take place.
Open Shore will be shut for its full length between its junctions with Customhouse Place on Wednesday.
Old Largs Road, Greenock
A countryside route will be closed overnight for three nights starting from Friday, October 4.
Old Largs Road will be shut from its junction with Dunrod Road for approximately 2 kilometres in a southerly direction to the boundary with North Ayrshire.
The closure will be in place from 9pm until 6am each night and is in place to facilitate carriageway reconstruction.
