THE final visitor of Greenock's 2024 cruise ship season has arrived this morning.
Regal Princess is the last large vessel to berth at the local cruise ship terminal this year, bringing another successful sailing season to a close.
The 20-deck ship was also the area's first large visitor of 2024 when she arrived in late April.
She made her 13th and final visit of the year just before 9am today amid a 12-day round trip of the British Isles, Ireland and France.
The majestic cruise ship departed from Southampton on September 24 and has so far visited Cork, Dublin, Belfast and Liverpool.
When she departs Greenock tomorrow, she will be going on to Kirkwall in Orkney before stopping off in Edinburgh and Paris and then returning to Southampton.
While Regal Princess is the last large vessel to visit Greenock this season, a number of smaller ships are still set to stop off, including the familiar Hebridean Princess.
Earlier this sailing season the Tele was given an exclusive look inside Regal Princess at her impressive array of attractions and facilities.
Today's visit will bring an end to a sailing season which has seen tens of thousands of passengers visit the area on more than 60 ships.
