Inverclyde charities and voluntary groups can now bid for up to £15,000 from a mental health and wellbeing fund.
CVS Inverclyde is inviting local applicants to apply for government funding to tackle issues like social isolation, loneliness, mental health inequalities and suicide prevention.
They will also look to give funding for initiatives tackling the cost of living crisis.
CVS Inverclyde CEO, Charlene Elliott, said: “This is an essential fund for Inverclyde communities and we are proud to administer it to local organisations.
“As the third sector interface for Inverclyde, we’re here to support and strengthen local charities and voluntary groups.
“The impact of this fund over the past three years has been well documented and many fantastic organisations have been funded to deliver crucial mental health support.
“The funding for a fourth year is welcome as we all continue to face immense challenges and pressures. This round of funding will continue to transform (and save) lives in Inverclyde.”
Inverclyde Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is now in its fourth year and is part of a £15 million pound national fund ring fenced by the Scottish Government.
Organisations considering application are invited to take part in an online information session on October 15 to ask questions about the process.
The deadline for the fund is Friday, November 4 at 10am.
