Visitors recently got a rare insight into a Port Glasgow Masonic Lodge and the work they do.
Lodge Doric Kilwinning No68 opened its doors to the public at the weekend.
More than 50 people went along to have a look over Saturday and Sunday. The event was part of Doors Open Day Inverclyde festival, which gives the public free access to fascinating local buildings.
Eddie Lapsley was only too happy to show people around and said he had positive feedback.
He said: "I noted some of the written comments people left.
"This included 'very interesting and informative. It's good to understand more about the lodge'."
Another wrote: "What a tour, Eddie was so interesting, definitely a book of knowledge, really enjoyed my day and the cuppa from his wife Liz."
Another attendee said: "Tour was very informative, you can tell a lot of preparation went into it. Eddie was very friendly and knowledgeable."
"Enjoyed hearing the history of the temple, very beautiful rooms."
