A GOUROCK band has teamed up with one half of an Inverclyde indie duo on a new single.
Quietly Into The Night's new tune 'I Only Bleed' features Eva Tedeschi from The Cords on vocals.
Shoegaze/post rock outfit Quietly Into The Night are Marky Anderson on vocals and guitar, Colin Peden on guitar, Gram Allan on drums, and Steven Stewart on bass.
They're influenced by the heavy shoegaze sound of bands like My Bloody Valentine and Nothing, and the grungey sounds of Dinosaur Jr and Nirvana.
The band have released two singles and one EP to date, and 'I Only Bleed' sees them lean into the dream pop sound.
Eva said she was 'super happy and excited' to be asked to sing on the single.
She added: "I've never sung for a shoegaze band before.
"Gram came to one of our practices and recorded my vocals.
"I loved it the first time I heard it, it's really catchy and I love what Gram did with my vocal, it's very dreamy sounding.
"The guys are great at what they do so it was a pleasure to sing for them."
Marky added: "As soon as we finished writing all our parts for the song it felt like it was made for Eva's voice.
"We had been absolutely blown away by The Cords' recent single 'Rather Not Stay' so we were buzzing when she agreed to do it."
'I Only Bleed' will be available to stream and buy on the Quietly Into The Night Bandcamp page from Friday, October 4.
